Can I unsubscribe at any time?

Yes, Recloud is a monthly subscription software that allows you to cancel your subscription at any time without penalty.

Can I request a tailor-made plan?

Yes, if none of the proposed plans suit you, you can contact our team and we will send you an estimate adapted to your needs without any obligation.

How many users can be connected?

Depending on the plan chosen, a number of core users will have access. These users can share the project with other people within the platform. Using Recloud Free Viewer anyone, even outside the platform, will be able to receive the project with limited functionalities.

How does the software detect deviations on the construction site?

By comparing the BIM model and a point cloud the software detects the differences between them.

Which formats should I load the BIM model and the point cloud?

Recloud currently supports the universal IFC format for the BIM model and the PLY format for the point cloud. More formats will be added soon. Although there are many converters that will allow you to change formats without any problem. Example: Cloudcompare

How long does a comparison usually take?

In approximately 2-3 minutes the software is able to perform the alignment and comparison between the two models. For very large files it may take a few minutes longer.

How do I access the results of the works control?

From your user portal you will be able to access and share reports and files.

Can I download the results?

Yes, the results can be downloaded in PDF or Excel format.

How is scanning carried out?

If you already have the point cloud file you can upload it directly to the platform. If you don’t have it, you can request a scanning service from our platform. Our network of partners will send you a free quote, as well as a discount for being a Recloud user.

How accurate is point cloud scanning?

Depending on the scanner used by our partners in each case, a tolerance of ± 2mm can be achieved with static scanners and ± 5 cm with Drone scanners.

What is Recloud Free Viewer?

Recloud Free Viewer is a free online BIM and Point Cloud viewer.

What can I do with Recloud Free Viewer?

You can load your models and make cuts, measurements, obtain information on the elements that make up the BIM model, among other functionalities.

What is the difference between Recloud Free Viewer and Recloud Platform?

Recloud Platform allows you to make comparisons between BIM models and point clouds or between two point clouds. Detect deviations, create reports, manage user permissions and other tools. Recloud Free viewer is the free viewer open to everyone that allows you to share files with people outside the platform.

Can I send someone the BIM model or point cloud with Recloud Free Viewer?

Yes, by sharing the generated link, you can send the BIM model or point cloud of your choice.

Can I load a point cloud and the BIM model at the same time in Recloud Free Viewer?

No, to upload 2 models at the same time and make comparisons, you will have to do it through the Recloud platform.
